Our Story

We understand the joy and challenges that come with a renovation project - read our story.

Our showroom has been a labour of love. Originally the St Chinian flower shop, this beautiful village house needed a complete renovation when we embarked upon the project to create our show-room.

From the first moment we visited the premises we realised the wonderful potential that this old village house offered.

Built in the 1800s this house is part of the protected historical part of the village.

A little look back at the history of our own renovation project.

The downstairs was in 4 distinct areas. The left hand side was the old flower shop, the front right hand side room was the old marble and granite workshop with a kitchen behind.

The beautiful staircase had been fully enclosed.

On the first floor there were two bedrooms, a lounge and a bathroom.

On the second floor there were four unused rooms and an attic full of junk.

The downstairs walls have been knocked down to create an open and light space to show case kitchens, bathrooms and a variety of other products.

A beautifully crafted bespoke beech work top doubles as the reception desk.

CimentArt microcement has been used to create the shower cubicle and kitchen work tops.

Natural stone and wood parquet have been laid on the floor.

Bespoke wooden cabinets have been constructed from reclaimed timber in the technical area. The doors have been hand crafted from upcycled pallet wood and painted in the Farrow & Ball colour chart.

On the top floor the ceiling has been removed and a mezzanine and office area has been created that shows off the beautiful original light well.

The old windows have been lovingly restored with the broken glass panes being replaced with double glazing.
